e-Commerce Enabled Online Credit Card Verification and Shopping System.

The project is a website for shopping online. The main aim behind the creation of the site is to bring the great features of the E-commerce in to the company’s business. By implementing this site the company can expand their business hours from the period 10 – 8 to 24 Hrs. and the business coverage from a local area to the global area. Any customer from anywhere can order products. Also the site provides easy enquiry facility to the customers.

Modules of the Project:

The project contains the following modules:

1) Product Information

This section provides the detailed information about all available products of various categories.

2) Registration of online customers

To order some products through the website, first the customer have to register with the company by providing the necessary details about the customer like address etc. On successful registration the customer will be given a customer id and a password.

3) Ordering of available products

Once the customer got an id he can place an order at any time. The list of all available categories will be displayed. On selection of a category the products belonging to that category will be listed with price. The customer can type in the required quantity. When the order is confirmed he will get the order no.

4) Order cancellation

After placing the order, within a limited time the customer can cancel the order through the site.

5) Site administration

The company has to update the database entries regularly. The website provides an option for adding new products to the database and also to change the existing values.

6) Credit Card Verification

At the time of ordering of the product the company database will check for the validity of the credit card of customers against the number and password submitted by them. Only after getting the confirmation the order will place.
