Project Synopsis

Project Title: www.ebanking.Com

Tools / Platform: The project will be in Windows-2000/2003 platform with ASP .Net (Scripting to be done using vb.net) And MS-SQL SERVER. The Web Server will be IIS.

Introduction To application Area

The project deals with two areas of web based online banking and transaction management system.

Modules Of The Project

1) Account Opening Module

The module helps in sending the online request for opening of a bank account. ( Fixed Deposit , Savings ,Current and NRI accounts ) The online form available in the site can be filled and submitted for the approval of the bank. Once the request is approved the user can remit the amount and open the account. Once the account is opened a user id and password will be allotted to the member.

2) Cash Deposit Module

The module helps in deposit of the money to the bank. The module will be operated by the staff of the bank. Each account holder can deposit money into the bank through this module.

3)Cash WithDrawal module

The module helps in withdrawal of the money from a particular account in the bank. The withdrawal will be controlled by the rules of the account.

4)Demand Draft Module

The module helps in placing a online request for sending demand drafts. All the details like the Person in Favor of , Address , the amount for which the DD has to taken etc. can mentioned. The DD will be sent by the bank from the account of the person requesting.

5)Money Transfer Module

The module helps the account holders in transferring a particular sum of money from one particular account to another one through online facility. Here also the amount transferred will be controlled by the rules of the account.

6)Loan Processing Module

The module helps in submitting the request for the loan request. Once the request is approved the loan amount will issued to the person making the request. There will be particular account opened in the name of person for dealing with the loan issue and loan repayment details.

7) Interest Calculation module

The module helps in calculating the interest due in the Fixed Deposits and Savings account of the holder. The user can with draw the calculated interest. Each account holder can generate the statement showing the total amount interest calculated on a particular date.

8)Administration Module

The module helps in administration of the site and generation of administrative and legal reports required.
