Existing system

From years ago no compramisation is given in the case of education. For getting any degree all students must have to go to their classrooms and attend the classes regularly. In the case of adult students adult students have many important responsibilities in addition to their educations, many need or prefer to pursue their studies outside the classroom. So they can’t continue their studies.

Today the information technology is so developed. As this field is shaking hands with almost all the fields in the world, it has some developments in the education field also. So online university came to existence

Proposed system

In oder to overcome the limitations of the existing system, a new system has to be proposed. Using the proposed system. University can interact with the candidates directly without the help of study centers.So all functions which handled by the study centres such as registration,fee collection,conducting exams,distributing relevant documents etc etc are get replaced by the proposed system

Also candidates can participate in course activities at any time of day or night. There is no long commutes to class. They can interact with students across the globe. Also they can work with outstanding faculty

NEED FOR THE PROPOSED SYSTEM

Online education can help o overcome many obstacles of life. There is a benefit that students can learn at home or any place they choose, where you have access to a computer with Internet access. As a distance education student, all student works independently, but they are not alone. Technology links them to their faculty members, academic advisors and course mates.

The project contains five modules.

I) Administration Login:

This module has the provision to change the password, update the course details, subject details, topic details, fees details, and arrange exams, add questions for online examination.

II) Registration:

This module deals with the registration of the students according to certain criteria.

III) Student Login:

This module deal with the student login after registration each student gets a enrolment identification number. This number is used for student login. After login a student can view their profile, can edit profile, can register for the examination and can write online examination.

IV) Online examination

After registering for a particular examination, each student get a hall ticket identification number, this identification number is used for writing online examination.

V) Course:

This module deals with all the sections related to the course.
